The Anti-Temperance Hallway Revival

The Steampunk Empire Symposium has developed many great reputations over the past few years, and one of them is that we throw epic room parties. Last year the party wing was labelled the “Hallway of Debauchery,” but this year the official name for this area is “The Anti-Temperance Hallway Revival!”

The Hallway is collection of rooms far from the main tower of the hotel that have been specifically designated for room parties; attendees must be over 21 to enter the Hallway and this is strictly enforced by Symposium Security. This year the Hallway is comprised of ten suites and a few kings, all hosting parties in their own styles, but open to all who are of age and have a Symposium badge.

Amongst the party hosts for 2014 are the Ace of Spades, the League of Cincinnati Steampunks, Airship Passepartout, Calamity Labs, Steampunk Chronicles and the Traveling Revelers, the Painted Lady Salon, and more.

The aim of the Anti-Temperance Hallway Revival is to have fun, and we wish to ensure the fun of all attendees which is why staff and security will be in the Hallway to make sure that however wild the parties may get, everyone still follows the Respect Policy . . . harassment is buzz kill for everyone; instead, let’s have jolly good larks!
