Become a Vendor!

As you all know, the theme for this year is “Steampunk Under The Big Top!” Think old circuses and sideshows, curiosities and magic! We want this event to be like circuses of the past; where people believed that for a nickel you could see a real live mermaid! Feeling the joy and wonder at seeing the extraordinary, and for a short time take us away from the everyday machinations of the world…into a place of fun and fantasy.

If you know anyone who might sell things that would fit this aesthetic, please forward the Symposium Vendor Application link to them or if you think you have just what we need for our event, fill out the application yourself. We’re not only going to focus on traditional Steampunk wares but also items such as curiosities, oddities and items that scream “Circus.” Of course we want vendors that sell such traditional Steampunk items as men's and women's clothing, jewelry, leather goods, tea and confections BUT we are also looking for vendors that sell things you might find in fairgrounds or in secret markets behind the big tent. Our vendor hall, or fairway as we’re calling it this year, is going to be a place where one can hope to find a little bit of everything, and maybe find a couple of things they didn’t expect!

Applications are being accepted now and will be approved based on the criteria below:

• Uniqueness and quality of your products. If you have a website, online storefront or photographs so we can see your work, that will greatly improve your chances for acceptance.
• Based on our year’s current theme, we want to have some vendors that encompass and embrace the feel of what we’re trying to present to our guests.
• Professional presentation and display of your wares.
• Word of mouth and recommendations from other individuals.

We will have a short waiting list for those who will be contacted if a vendor has to cancel. You will be contacted as soon as we know if a space is available and we will need to hear back from you as soon as possible so we know we have that space filled.

Convention Dates: June 16-18, 2023

Location: Holiday Inn & Suites - 4501 Eastgate Boulevard, Cincinnati, OH 45245

Load-in information will be provided by email a couple of weeks before the convention. 

Vendor Hall Hours of Operation: Friday: 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Saturday: 10:00 am - 9:00 pm Sunday: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Vendor Applications will be accepted until April 1, 2023. This form is only for your application for vendor status. If approved, you will be contacted by April 15, 2023 with a full agreement including contract, payment instructions, and your vendor packet.

Cancellation Policy: 100% refund before April 2, 2023. 50% refund before May 1, 2023 and 0% refund after that date.
