There are 46 WEEKS until the Symposium . . .
This past week we were rather quiet, but several plans were put in motion for the 2019 Symposium.
It’s too early to reveal the designs, but our scientists have begun work on some Aether Cascade devices that they assure us will dramatically increase the immersive qualities of the Symposium “for those who like that kind of thing.” Watch out for further developments and updates as we follow this experiment to transport a whole building to another dimension.
The Steampunk Olympiad Committee is busy researching how to incorporate magic into the challenges for March 2019. Nothing substantial to report yet, but suffice to say, it is fortunate that they wore their goggles while experimenting with waving wands at each other.
Being that the Symposium is an “International” event, it comes as no surprise that attendees from many schools of witchcraft and wizardry will be visiting Cincinnati in March of MMXIX, but local historians and experts in magic have made the wonderful discovery of an academy of magic hidden in Cincinnati, Ohio. We are assured that the findings will be published this summer, and will be sure to share them with you as soon as they are available.
If you would like to present any panels, workshops, or other sessions at the Symposium, then please submit a proposal with our Presenter Application
Currently the Symposium is accepting applications from vendors wishing to be at the 2019 Symposium.
Next week we shall add more to Programming and Entertainment for 2019.
